The ARTEMIS Software has been designed and developed within the ARTEMIS Project “In vitro neural tissue system for replacement of transgenic animals with memory/learning deficiencies”. (www.artemisproject.eu)
The ARTEMIS software permits to record neurophysiological signals and to analyze them.

The ARTEMIS software permits to record neurophysiological signals and to analyze them.
The ARTEMIS software features are:
- SD - Spike Detection: It allows to calculate the MFR (Mean Fire Rate) and the IFR (Instantaneous Firing Rate)
- ISIH - Inter Spike Interval Histogram: the representation of the time interval between two consecutive spikes belonging the same train
- JISIH - Joint Inter Spike Interval Histogram: expresses the correlation between pre-ISI and post-ISI among spikes belonging the same train
- PSTH - Post Stimulus Time Histogram: it is used to study the electrophysiological activity evoked by external stimuli delivered to the network
- BD - Burst Detection: to determine the presence of bursts i.e. short episode of highly synchronized electrical activity
- IBIH - Inter Burst Interval Histogram: the representation of the time interval between two consecutive burst belonging the same train.
